Badger was my Everything. He was the kindest and bestest guy. He was my child, my best friend, my confidant, my bed buddy, my strength, my sunshine on cloudy days, my soul mate, my heart, my unconditional love & my Service Dog. We were so close, we knew each others thoughts. Badger is now my Guardian Angel. A large piece of my heart left with him. Life will never be the same.

We had So many conversations over the years. One was about the Rainbow Bridge. We agreed that the one that arrived there first, would watch and wait for the other. Badger will be waiting.

I know my Badger is in Heaven, and I know he is with me in spirit, but oh how I miss his physical presence. His sweet smell, his soft ruff to bury my face in, to hear him softly breathing next to me at night, to walk with me in the woods, his gentle kisses, spinning with a toy in his mouth, in the middle of the room to make me laugh, washing his stuffies....he always took such good care of them. His quick glances, to make sure I was watching him work his stock.

I look at his vest and pretty collars, but Badger is not here to wear them. Just so so many memories. I still keep praying I will awaken, and it will all just be a really awful nightmare! It continues to be a nightmare I cannot awaken from. If only our love and tears could have kept him here.

 May the Good Lord love and watch over our Badger, and help give me strength. I just feel so broken. I miss him So much!
