John G. Howe, Ph.D.
 Dr. Howe's consulting practice specializes in management effectiveness.
He has over 25 years of experience as an external consultant,
internal consultant and Human Resources executive. John’s
consulting practice, emphasizes management assessment, succession
planning, and management development.

 John has extensive experience assessing managers and executives
for selection, succession planning and placement. He has developed
and validated assessment centers for professional level employees
and managers. John has also developed and validated testing
programs for the selection and promotion of production employees.

 In the area of management and executive development, he has
designed and implemented succession planning systems, competency
models, evaluation systems including 360° tools, corporate executive
development programs, and individualized management development
plans. John’s experience in organizational improvement has focused on
organization redesign.

 Another area of expertise for John is Human Resource Management.
At the Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), he held senior generalist
as well as human resource development positions in Human Resources.
These positions included Human Resources Vice President for the Asia
Pacific region while living in Hong Kong and Japan, and Human
Resource Planning and Development Director at the corporate center.

 John is a psychologist licensed in Arizona and California. He completed
his Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Colorado State
University. John is a member of numerous professional organizations.
